hasn’t changed one bit
except for the prices,
of course.
Students walk by
in the late afternoon,
as young as ever,
perhaps as ambitious
and idealistic as ever.
Certainly, more diverse
than ever.
Today, Greenwich Village
reflects the constant
and the changes
in New York City,
perhaps the US
and our world
as well.
